Windows has many security tools scattered across different locations. Knowing the fastest way to reach each one is a competition speed advantage. Use Win+R (Run dialog) for the fastest access.
The Fastest Way: Win+R Run Commands

Three Layers of Windows Security Settings
- 1.Windows Settings (Win+I) — basic settings, least powerful
- 2.Control Panel — more detailed, overlaps with Settings
- 3.Microsoft Management Console (MMC) / Win+R commands — most powerful, required for group/security policy changes
