Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

📌 In plain English
Use the Academy to learn — legally and responsibly. It’s free and open to everyone, with no account or personal information required. The security skills we teach are for protecting systems you own or are authorized to test, never for harming others. Our content is educational; it comes with no guarantees, and you’re responsible for how you use what you learn.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the team behind KingCyberAI Academy (“we,” “us,” “the Academy”) governing your use of kingcyberai.academy and everything on it. By using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Who can use the Academy

The Academy is a free, general-audience educational site, open to learners of all ages. You do not need an account, and you never have to provide any personal information to use it.

3. It's free to use

Everything on the Academy — every lesson, diagram, quiz, and game — is free to use. There are no accounts and no paid features. If that ever changes, we will post clear terms here first.

4. Educational purpose only

The Academy provides educational content about cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. It is designed to help you learn and to prepare for competitions, courses, and careers. It is not professional, legal, or security advice for any specific system, and we do not guarantee any particular result, score, grade, certification, or career outcome.

5. Acceptable use of security skills

⚠ ImportantThis is the most important rule on the site. The skills we teach are powerful. Use them only where you are legally allowed to.

You agree that you will:

  • Only practice hacking, scanning, or testing techniques on systems you personally own, on the intentionally-vulnerable practice labs we point you to, or on systems you have explicit written authorization to test.
  • Never use anything you learn here to access, disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized entry to any computer, network, account, or data that is not yours and that you are not authorized to test.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including computer-misuse and cybercrime laws in your country (such as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act in the US and the Computer Misuse Act in the UK).
  • Follow responsible-disclosure practices and never use security knowledge to harm, harass, defraud, or invade the privacy of others.

Unauthorized access to computer systems is a serious crime. You are solely responsible for how you use the knowledge and skills you gain from the Academy. We provide this content strictly for lawful, ethical, educational purposes.

6. Acceptable conduct

When using the Academy, you agree not to:

  • Attack, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Academy itself or its infrastructure.
  • Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our lessons, diagrams, quizzes, or other content without our written permission.
  • Impersonate others, or misuse the site to harass, bully, or harm anyone.
  • Upload malicious code, or use the site in any way that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.

7. Intellectual property

The lessons, text, diagrams, games, and design of the Academy are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own learning. All product names, logos, and trademarks of third parties mentioned in our lessons (for example, competitions, tools, and standards bodies) belong to their respective owners and are referenced only for educational purposes.

8. Affiliate links and disclosure

Some outbound links on general resource pages may be “affiliate links.” If you click one and buy or sign up for something on the other company’s site, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools, books, and courses we genuinely believe are useful, and a commission never changes what we teach or suggest. An affiliate link is just a normal link with a referral tag; it adds no advertising or tracking to our site. We follow applicable disclosure rules, including the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, and we do not run third-party advertising on the Academy.

9. Third-party links

Our lessons link to external, official resources to help you learn. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion, and that site’s own terms and privacy policy will apply.

10. Disclaimers

The Academy is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that the content is complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. Cybersecurity and AI change quickly; some details may become out of date.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Academy, or from how you choose to apply what you learn. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Academy or your violation of these Terms or of any law — including any unauthorized use of security techniques.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Academy if you breach these Terms or use the site in a way that is unlawful or harmful to others. You may stop using the site at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Academy is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your own country give you additional rights. If we later operate the Academy as a registered business, we will name the specific governing jurisdiction here.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Academy evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide notice on the site. Continuing to use the Academy after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
